Jason Wahler of Laguna Beach fame finally reported to jail last week. The reality TV star began his 30-day sentence in Issaquah, WA, according to People magazine. Wahler has also been making appearances on the MTV spin-off The Hills. His sentence is for minor intoxication signs and assault. The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges. Wahler, who also did a stint in rehab, is currently engaged to 20-year-old college student Katja Decker-Sadowski. I think that Wahler needs to get a reality check of his own, no pun intended. This seemingly tortured reality “star” has had his share of battles with the law. Here’s an idea: stop drinking and assaulting people! My run-in with Wahler at JFK Airport confirmed that he is a looker, but this guy should realize he’s throwing his life away. He even announced his engagement at a keg party in front of his ex-girlfriend, Lauren Conrad. I mean, there’s decency and then there’s just plain trashy. I’m really cheering for the guy, but I hope he understands that going from rehab to marriage is not the best idea.
