Dreier's in Quite the Pickle

Marc Dreier, sole equity partner of New York firm Dreier LLP, has gotten himself into quite a predicament.

The charges seem to mount against him daily, with the latest being SEC filings that allege funds are missing from clients' escrow accounts.

Just last week Dreier was charged with impersonation in Canada and creating a $100 million dollar scam to obtain funds for his law firm.

To top it off, Dreier (along with several others) and Dreier LLP are also being sued by Wachovia who alleges that a credit revolver and term loan extended to the firm are in default.

Keep your ears open; I'm sure there's more to come in the Dreier saga.
