Dear JD2B
Ruined

I took the LSAT in September, but I am not sure what to do about my score of 148, as everything just seems to be ruined if you end up performing so badly. I was expecting a much better score than this! Now I am losing my self-confidence, and it’s affecting everything around me. Do you think I should give it a shot again? I need someone to genuinely consider the situation I’m in and give me some advice.

Dear Ruined,

Rest assured, it’s not the end of the world.  There will be plenty of other opportunities to take the LSAT.  In fact, there are going to be seven LSAT test dates in 2007.  You’ve taken the LSAT once, so you know what to expect.  Be sure to prepare yourself for the test by looking over Kaplan or Princeton Review books.  They include previously administered tests that you can study.  Plus, they have lots of helpful tips.  The JD2B Links page lists a few resources that you might want to investigate.  Good luck!  And, remember…relax!
