''You're always learning something new. I think that's what I enjoy about the law in general. For example, I had a professor who liked to joke that at one point in his legal career he was the foremost expert in the process of freezing shrimp for transportation. He had to learn a lot about it for a case he worked on. That's the best part of the law — to be a good advocate, you have to know the subject matter of the case you're working on. That means learning something new for each case. Sure, frozen shrimp may not be that interesting, but I think the process of continued learning is important. The law is one of the few areas where you are always learning something new.''
