UConn prez: Death of Milford student 'heartbreaking'
In an e-mail announcing the death of a student from Milford punched during Spring Weekend, the University of Connecticut’s president urged students and employees to be more conscious of how they treat each other.
Michael Hogan, president of the university, said the death of junior Jafar Karzoun is "heartbreaking" and that, as they do every year, school officials will examine this year’s Spring Weekend festivities and how the event may contribute to violence.
