On Campus: Law professor arrested in Rwanda for his views on genocide
A law professor at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minn., was arrested in Rwanda Friday for what are considered illegal views on the Rwandan genocide.
Peter Erlinder was there to represent his client, Victoire Ingabire, the opposition presidential candidate.
Erlinder has local ties because his daughter, Sarah Erlinder, graduated from UW-Madison's law school last year.
